Birds with a View in Kansas City
The Birds recently were at the Quilt Festival in Kansas City. Now they have shown up on the Festival Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/412451178946079 Way to go.
We also just finished up another wonderful retreat in Brunswick MO at the Sew Sweet quilt shop and retreat center. Two more challenges were put together to be finished and a new one introduced. Watch for more.

Birds with a View
Our newest challenge has just been finished! Sharon and the west side girls planned Birds with 16 individual tiles. Each person involved was given a simple line drawing of their tile with only branches sketched in. There were specific size requirements for the branches and general color guidelines for the backgrounds. After that it was up to us. It was put together with raw edge zig zag stitching covered with a binding. I will post the specific names and locations when I am sure. It measures 50" square.

Quilt Retreat!
We met at the Brunswick Sew Sweet Quilt shop and retreat center this past weekend. What a fabulous place. www.brunswicklodgingsandeventcenter.com
Fun was had by all. We worked on our new Dresden project, finsihed (mostly) the Bird tiles, had show and tell. It was a blast and a wonderful new place to meet and get to know each other.

National Park Reveal
Our latest challenge was to do a postcard of a National Park. The "cards" were enlarged and put together in two different formats. Half are stitched together and the other half are shown in a vinyl casing resembling a notebook page.

Seeing Red displayed
We hung the Seeing Red challenge at Urban Eats today. This is a wonderful gallery space in a great little eatery in the Dutchtown area of St. Louis. It looks really great hanging. Sorry I didn't get a straight on view
